Round Bottle Gourd is a traditional variety that produces small, round, light green gourds with tender flesh. Known as Suraikkai in Tamil, Lauki in Hindi, and Doodhi in Marathi/Gujarati, this variety is perfect for making gravies, kootu, curries, and soups. It grows well in Indian climates and is suitable for home gardens, terrace pots, or open fields with proper support.
How to Sow

Harvest Timeline
Seeds germinate in 6 to 10 days. Gourds are ready to harvest in 60 to 75 days. Harvest when fruits are round, firm, and tender for best cooking quality.
